CROSSWIM® is the ultimate training program created by head coach Dmitri Kogan (ASCA strength & conditioning coach and ASCTA swimming coach) and designed for children and adults who would like to stay fit as long as possible. The training session consists of swimming and strength & conditioning parts. The combination of both parts gives you the ultimate workout which targets every single muscle in a body. Moreover, it works all body energy systems, including your heart, in the way you hardly find in any other training.
No surprises, that some people like swimming, but don’t workout in a gym. Others like gym, but don’t swim. It is very important to understand, that if you like to stay fit for longer, you have to work your muscles with challenging resistance and also work your heart not just aerobically (cardio, as many may say) but anaerobically as well (short fast bursts) in order to create all-rounded workout.
It’s no doubts, that swimming has much more benefits in comparison to other physical activities. They are: you train in horizontal position, that is easier for your heart to pump blood to working muscles; you involuntary stretch your muscles while swimming, which consequently improves your muscles flexibility and joints mobility.
